What if it Snows?

There’s a fuel stop there they paved the lot in not long ago, on in town at wal mart you can park and shop and they won’t run you off either.

 

That was one of the factors that pushed me toward buying my own trailer.

Felt like 2/3 of what I picked up needed repairs and was way past due for 120 day inspection. The inspection bounty at that time was not worth the time it took to get an inspection.

 

The lady here told me to “line up the way we used too.”

Don't do it, Under construction, I had to back up completely around this whole #### compound.
Go back inside and she was watching me on security cameras, “Most people get mad when i tell them they gotta back into the pit.”

I told her if i could drive it there, i can back it out.
So now i’m in “the new lot” so therefore it’s not like we used to do.

 

Walls 2 and 3 almost done. Need another hand to move tv thing out. Weighs a ton

 

I called this place, because I couldn’t remember their hours.
They say 24/7!
I think it’s a lie,
I got here at 2105, after fueling, minor setbacks and such.
They’ve unloaded 1 truck.
At midnight i lie down.
They called at 0239, ready for you.
Idle across, out of hours by this point, back over pit, and hear, “I’ll come let you know when we’re ready for you to start unloading.”

So why did you call me if you were not set and ready?
Now I remember why i said this place was 7-7, cause late shift is here, but that’s all you can say.
The Judge done had to try to remain calm like 3 times already, but is close to firing off of this dude at pit.

Now he said they put my weight in place of barcode number so they’ve gotta change paperwork on their end, that they messed up.
The Judge thinks he should have really taken the rest of this week off.

 

I just received the Q2 2023 WERNER newsletter. I am very gracious to receive such communication. It’s almost like hitting the Powerball, but without money.

I must have signed up as a carrier when I started. Funny thing is I never received anything from them before. Must be desperate.

Has anyone else had an increase of emails and phone calls since the industry went in the toilet?
