Awesome. You will be impressed with FCC from the first day of Orientation. You will meet a lot of good people.

You made a great decision and ya it can be a bit stressful when changing jobs, etc.

    Welcome Aboard!!!

Came out Tuesday this week, Unloaded in Ellabell that morning and then picked up a load of stone tile in Savannah for Menards. First time there. Nice big new location but #### slow (4+ hours slow) getting loaded. Dropping in Shelby and they gave me a store load going to Lincoln. Only 100 miles and all in had over 4 hours invested in it but a paid mile is a paid mile. Grabbed a Kawasaki load and headed back to Ellabell for Monday unload.

Arrived tonight and taking a 34 here. Was hoping to meet up with my oldest tomorrow but they will be out of town for most of the day. Might grab dinner or drinks with them later tomorrow if they get back in town early.

    stay safe

I don't think I'll ever pull a reefer again. Just too much BS involved. I don't get why so many people do it

runningman0661, JoeyJunk and bzinger Thank this.

Made it through all the Online Orientation and Training. So far only two "gotchas." First, the driver is on the hook for $1000 for any damage from preventable accidents , late delivery fees, or cargo damage. For cargo damage it's specified they can charge it over time at $50 a week, for the others there's no mention of paying it in installments. The other is if you bail within 6 months they'll take the cost of the DOT physical and the Pre Hire drug test ($160 IIRC) out of of your last check.
I wasn't sure which Transflo app for the phone you use but it sounds like from one of the videos they routinely help guys set up the app during orientation so I'll just wait to get up there to install that so I can be sure to get the right one and get it set up correctly out of the gate.
    Had 2 questions:
The cutoff for loads to make onto the weeks Settlement is Tuesday at Midnight. Is that 00:00 (Monday Night) or 24:00 (Wednesday Morning)?
The Lytx policy referred to using a dash button to record an event while you are driving and the buttons on the camera to record an event when the truck is stationary. We used to have Drivecams and they only had the buttons on the camera, I'm assuming the dash button they are talking about is part of the side camera setup?

It looks like a doorbell button mounted on the dash. It has a circular label around it identifying what it is. I would occasionally press it and watch the lights on the camera itself to make sure it was working.
