I surprisingly have had hardly any DEF issues with the trucks I've driven recently (fingers crossed)

Well they just pulled it in the shop at least. They close at midnight, so I know it ain't getting done tonight, but maybe they'll make a dent in it (not literally hopefully), then it wouldn't take as long in the morning. Then maybe I could get back to Fremont while they're on day shift. Fingers crossed

PSA to all FCC owner ops. Rick told me this afternoon starting the week of 8-21 night shift in Fremont will only work on company trucks, until further notice due to being short staffed. Not sure about CB, but they didn't have time for me tonight, I think CB and day shift Fremont will still deal with us though as long as they can fit it in. They will still do 90 day inspections on night shift, just won't fix anything unless they're not busy. So just a heads up, try to plan your shop visits during the day or plan on using an outside shop.... also this has been brought up before, but company drivers, please call whichever shop you are planning on going to as far in advance as possible, preferably the day before, so they can schedule your truck and plan on you being there..... hopefully this doesn't last too long, we save a lot of money using FCC shops, not to mention less downtime with the tecs already knowing our trucks, parts department on-site having most things in stock, I'm spoiled ######! Company drivers please stay out of the shop when I need in there ok? Thank you! Lol

Stepped onto my front porch to load a couple things in my car before heading out to the truck and it's 80 degrees with 90% humidity. It doesn't feel pleasant. Thankfully it's supposed to cool down here into the weekend. Fall weather can't come soon enough.
