well first, it's your job and duty to check registrations of any trailer and any tractor assigned to you, as well as insurance card and other important documents kept in the truck.
so THAT one is on you for not catching it and taking care of it.

the tire thing can also be on you if you did not check your tires good enough at the pre-trip, or even a post trip, even IF a post trip is not required, you should always check your vehicle when you are done for the day/night.

you can of course always catch a nail or other debris in your tire, to cause a leak, but that is on you too, if you do not do a "walk around" each time you stop to "squirt the dirt", or stop for a break.

so tell me, let's say you do get another job, would you be as ignorant to what YOU are supposed to be doing, as a responsibility as that professional driver..??

or look for yet another, and another, and another job..???

Dude - glad to hear it. You’re retired. Your signature says it all.

Why you don’t take up fly fishing or something of benefit to you, rather than beating the tar out of folks here that are new/scared/uninformed -

Dude asked a question - he’s concerned. He didn’t kill a bus load full of nuns.

Some companies, whether OTR or local, will look at how many CSA points you have. I know for a fact Magnum does. They turned me down 4 years ago because I had a lot of violations. It was my fault for staying too long with a company that had a cheap owner. That company is long gone and out of business. I had accumulated a lot of CSA points over the 5 years I worked for that company. Magnum requires a score to be 30 and under. Those infractions you have aren't that big of a deal. You should still be able to find work anywhere. Those aren't moving violations. It isn't like you had a bad accident or something. We all make mistakes early on in our careers. It's only way you learn quite from them, quite frankly. Don't worry yourself about these inspections. Just learn from them and do more detailed pre trips. Even to this day, I sometimes miss things on my pre/post trips.
