I was hauling a load back to Arkansas City Kansas when my wife became ill. I stopped In Pratt Ks at the hospital for my wife. I was then called a hour later and said I would no longer be employed by Trand. I had no problem with that, they told me to leave the truck in Greensburg Ks. I replied and told them I would not do that. I signed a contract that clearly stated I was to return the truck to ANY terminal of my choice if I no longer had a job at the company. I told my dispatch I would be returning the truck to the Ark City terminal where I was Givin the job. So that is what I did, 2yrs later I get pulled over for speeding and was told I had a felony warrant out of Pratt County Ks. After spending 11 days in County jail in Oklahoma, they came and got me to take to Kansas. Where there I sat another 7 days before my court date. They would not put a bond on me because I was a flight risk they said. I get in front of the judge and he laughs, yes he laughs and asks the DA if he was joking. I lost 18 days of my life, a new job I had just started a week prior and god only knows how much money. My case was dismissed and they we're never held accountable for there actions. Just a warning to other drivers, don't work for Trand Transport out of Ark City Ks.
Trand Transportation is a Joke. Not only did they call the highway patrol, they stole my last payche

they had an arrest warrant put on you for stealing.....when you got back to the terminal and that ain't no BS either.
long out of business they are, and no, i never worked for them either.
and for the record, i cannot locate the company you are complaining about....JoeyJunk Thanks this. -
I would've left the truck in Greensburg. You were fired at that point so it wouldn't have been a truck abandonment. If they wanted left there, so be it.
