So I figgered I'd just get one spot where I can post the ramblin's of my brain whenever they start leaking out.

    Here's a recent one.

    A twist of fate,
    A turn too late,

    A greasy smear,
    Of blood and hair,

    A grounded home,
    A name in stone.

Ah,the winter doldrums get me down this time of year.

    Baack and JustSonny Thank this.

    A burning ember eons old
Trapped and held in a crystal fold,

    A mighty,
    Molten,
    Movement from
    Bowels... deep below

    Set you free
    For my eyes to see
And then to take you home!

My favorite stone is fire agate...it seems to capture the suns fire and give it a mellower glow.

It wasn't your time it was much too soon
I'll never forget that day in June
Birds were singing and flowers in bloom
You were humming a delightful tune

Screeching, blaring, and a quick loud thud
Motor oil and glass mixed with warm blood
Smearing your beauty with a reddish thick mud
Drowning our dreams in a deep dark flood

The crash came quickly without a warning
Blood flowing freely was quite alarming
I held you as the angels came calling
From my eyes large tears were falling

I lost my love that fateful day
A drunken driver took her away
I asked God to make him pay
To burn his soul without delay

They said that time would heal my heart
But I've only grown sadder our time apart
In what I have written I wish to impart
Drinking then driving is not very smart

    When I was a youngster,
I wanted to drive big trucks.
So I put in my application at JB Hunt.
    I took all their test
and then I went to their school,
But then they would'nt hire me,
    they said I's afool.
So I went down to Schnieder
and I put my app in,
    Then before I knew it,
    they were calling me "Friend".
They said we'll give you an orange truck,
    If you, "drive 55",
    Be safe and courteous
    and stay alive!

    My first co-driver
    was a man of 62
    He was slightly bald headed,
and he talked a whole lot, too.
I didn't mind his talkin much,
    but sometimes late at night,
he'd put on a bright red dress
and turn on the dome light!

Well, we traveled across the country,
for I guess about a month.
Me in my big black Stetson,
He in his high heeled pumps.
    Then we got to Frisco,
& he bailed out of the truck!
He said "He'd finally found a home"
And then he wished me luck!
