I settled for Dennys Phillychee-steak omelet which is pretty good. I enjoyed the 49ers kick some Steeler booty.

Started the week in South Carolina. The load I was under had so much time on it that in spite of losing most of a day to breakdowns and switching trucks I still had time to grab a 34 (still had 30 hours on my clock). So anyhow Tuesday morning I roll out and deliver, Getting ready to head to a truck stop to wait for a load. Q-Com goes off with a broker load to Green Bay, Wisconsin. Delivers Thursday morning, appointments at both ends. That leads to a broker load from Sheboygan, WI to Papillion, NE for an appointment Friday morning. Really wanted to make it to CB so I could switch trucks back while not on my 14 hour clock but wound up about 15 minutes short. So I bust butt to CB early Friday morning and manage to get moved over before my delivery appointment. I was scheduled to load in Omaha between noon and 2 PM. Asked and was given permission to go in early. That was an interesting one, Loaded up at a flour mill where I had to back in between buildings and then around a corner to hit some fairly skinny docks, Shut down in Morris IL with less than 15 minutes left on my 14 after running pretty hard to make it that far. Yesterday pushed a little and made it to Breezewood, PA. Shut down here and am taking a pretty fat 34 hr reset, probably will wind up at about 40 hours. DId get laundry done today and grabbed a shower, So the time was not entirely wasted.
Have a 2:30 PM appointment Monday. Where I'm going from there is a mystery. If recent experience is any guide it will be right when I empty out. Don't hold out a lot of hope, that's awfully late in the day to get a load, so probably either a) I'm going to be killing time for a pickup Tuesday and/or b) I'm going to get a load that's going to leave me looking for parking at 0 dark 30 on the East Coast. If by some miracle I do get loaded tomorrow I tried to set myself with enough hours to have some flexibility.JoeyJunk, Speed_Drums, cdavis188 and 3 others Thank this. -

Going under that conveyor gave me anxiety. The actual maneuvering wasn’t bad, just a little tedious. Worst part of the place was finding the shipping office.bzinger, Speed_Drums, cdavis188 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Well they’re trying to get me a load back. Full credit they are trying to get me preassigned reasonably early. First contestant would have been quite tidy. Pickup in Reading Pa 3 mt miles going back to Nebraska. Sticking point is it required a trailer less than 10 years old, my new assigned trailer is 10 years 3 months young. Called and checked if that would fly and was unassigned. Next contestant was a load from Camden NJ to Shell Rock, IA. Only sticking point was the pickup window closes at 15:00 and my delivery appointment for the previous load is at 14:30 ~70 miles away. So waiting patiently for contestant #3.
