Well that was a first. Apparently kitchen knives at Walmart have an age restriction on them.

 

It was pretty good. We may go back this weekend as well since it'll be a lot cooler outside.

 

Ain't been the same around here since R has been off doing Time. LOL

 

I'm halfway to ga now check engine light came on again on this Peterbilt hope that fuse for boost doesn't blow again which happened a few weeks ago.

 

We should do something special.

 

Can never decide… funnel cake or elephant ear… so I go for one of each.

unfortunately, I haven’t have either for years.

 

Another option, while I don’t know where you are dropping and then hooking, is to run it to CB after you get unloaded, grab a good MT, then go grab your next load.

Not as easy as a simple DnH at the CB Yard but then you don’t have to wait for them to touch the trailer. And they aren’t under the gun to check out a loaded trailer than needs to get back OTR.

A semi win/win for both Driver and Shop.

So I got pulled into a Scale in MO yesterday. Then got the bypass. Not unusual. But trucks were then stopping in the bypass lane for people on each side of the lane.

It was a group of folks handing out Thank You Driver bags and just verbally telling us that we are appreciated and to stay safe on the roads.

Wasn’t much in the bag… some mints, toothpicks, hand sanitizer, and a cheap flashlight… but it was a rather nice thought.
