Well, maybe if Silverstein took out another multi-billion dollar policy on something, or there was evidence being stored that would harm a FLOTUS, or the Pentagon misplaced another $2.3T.

 

I can't even imagine.

 

They are a lot more interesting when they're still operating. Last one I went in was the old Territorial Prison, the big stone prison on Highway 50 in Cañon City, Colorado. These days it's the prison where they put inmates with chronic medical conditions. When I was a paralegal, I went in there to talk to one of my boss's old criminal clients a couple times. When the big metal gates clang shut behind you, it really brings home the feeling that you never, ever want to end up living there.

I went through Dachau when I was 9 years old. It left an impression.

How anyone can treat another human being like that is beyond me. Of course, I can't believe what we see on our own streets anymore either.

 

It's amazing that even at that young of an age a child can feel the impact later on.... yet adults can't in the moment
