I think Swift is garnishing my paycheck making me pay for a tow.

$100 a month is a steal. I pay $175 just for my bobtail.

If they were ok with it in the past then I would agree. No harm, no foul. I didn't see that nor get that impression though.

Near me the drivers just park their rigs on the interstate ramps

I drive by several times a day and it’s always the same trucks . It’s not OTR guys napping . It’s guys who live in a nearby apartment complex parking the Same trucks on the ramp .

    Finding parking is a issue
When I was living in Biloxi I got permission from the owner to park at a muffler shop .
They had a large lot and I just stopped in and asked .

Yes, if they feel your actions caused the tow bill they will require you to pay it. It happened to me in my first year at another company. Make better decisions.

I totally agree, paid parking in Charlotte which is about 30 minutes from where I live is $200/$225 a month.

Goodness man, you're mad as hell. I can't really understand why. You would fire somebody for a simple parking mistake that many drivers, rookies and vets make? Walmart has evolved from allowing trucks to park there for extended periods. Honestly, now that I'm thinking about it, had it been any other time of the year instead of Black Friday weekend, he probably would not have got towed. I thought he would have had to eat that, but let's just celebrate that he got his money back as opposed to tearing him down. I'm sure he will do better next time.

    This^

Sad, but, per usual, a few bad apples ruin it for everyone. I noticed a popular off ramp parking area just yesterday morning was just covered in trash, piss bottles, etc… all from POS, scumbag drivers.

I actually called one of my buddies that’s a DOT now (he was a state trooper) & asked him if they could start running these #######es off. It’s illegal here anyway. They just don’t enforce it too much.
