I keep my tech on Truck Time and that is set to Eastern 24/7/365

I find that easier to adjust any appointment times to Eastern than have my tech constantly flip flopping around.

but that’s just me I assume.

 

Supposed to be leaving out of the house tomorrow morning. Weather guys can't seem to make up their mind but right now the consensus seems to be we'll have ice until about 10 in the morning. So I'm debating whether to punt for a day or just plan on leaving late in the day and only getting a half day in.

 

Decided discretion was the better part of valor after the reading the latest forecast discussion. The NWS isn't super confident on when the ice is going to clear out so I'm just going to wait and leave out early Wednesday morning.

 

well i got some good news at least. they’re going to preload that trailer that i’m supposed to take to Nebraska. Now why they didn’t do that in the first place i don’t know. would’ve saved a lot of time and aggravation. i was given the load last Thursday so there was plenty of time to do so.

after over 2 whole days of needlessly sitting around at the J in Barstow, i’m finally pulling out to grab my load from Victorville to take to North Platte.

did i mention how i hate broker loads?

 

What’s the easiest way to get into RJW Logistics in Lockport? Almost looks faster to drop south from 55 to get to them.

 

Survived all the passes and didn't need a link of chain to get over them. Roads were clear and got good weather! I lucked out big time! Late January in the mountain passes with no chains. Should have gotten a lotto ticket. At the rest area in Garfield Minnesnowdah tonite. Drop this lumber load, in Milaca in the morning, scoot up to Hastings MN going to LaVista ME, then presumably, my home load. Was supposed to be home Friday, but lost two days with my previous load, dang grocery warehouses (Fred Meyer in Clackamas). Anywho, could have been worse!
