Brings back memories. I drove a 12v71 jimmy back in 1980.

 

I’m the same age, wonder if my number is coming up too.

 

I guess he’s worth the headache then.

 

Sometimes I wonder.

 

That's just one of the joys of being the boss. Everybody figures you just kick back with your feet up on the desk and talk on the phone while you're getting rich.
Get about twenty or thirty drivers...ten percent of them will give you more problems and take up more of your time than the other 90 percent.

 

I'm just leaving this here from what I've learned as a shop stewart. Women drivers.

 

I have two ladies that drive water truck during the season. Both have been here longer than I have. One is a retired LEO and the other is a de-frocked nun. They live together. Neither one ever has much to say. That suits me just fine. They're good workers and don't tear up the equipment.
I've had a couple of females over the years that were problem children. They didn't last long.
