What tool do I use to unscrew this hood latch?

    My experience has been that the only wrench or socket that i cant find easily is WHICHEVER one i need NOW

    Put a crescent wrench on the bolt. Then take crescent wrench in to store and find a wrench that has the same opening as the crescent wrench you used to measure the bolt.

    Phillips screw drivers. The stubby ones. They're somewhere. Lots of them. I don't even buy them from Snap-On anymore...I order a dozen at a time from Amazon.

    I swear, I'd lose a 10mm socket at least once a month back when I pulled wrenches. Never any others, just the 10mm. I often see memes on the book of faces about it

    So you buy a socket wrench set with both US and metric, and then you are set to go.

    I bought these more than 20 years ago. When someone asks if they can borrow your 10mm or 9/16, just say no. If it's your wife, fix it for her.
