I realized by my mid-30s that getting a degree was the biggest waste of time, effort, and money in my entire life. I could have been making serious bank and having a blast fishing in Alaska in the early 80s before most of the restrictions started. Could've gotten drunk and got my ### kicked in a fight at the Elbow Room in Dutch Harbor. Ah, regrets. If you don't have any, you're not being honest with yourself.

 

I did get my ### kicked at the Tundra Tavern— multiple times— in the early 80’s on Adak — Marines and Seabees can be unreasonable sometimes

 

We have the fountain.

There was a funny post to the pic- "You took a fine time to leave me Lose Wheel" four hungry kids and a crop in the field!

 

Guy I used to work with hated refrigeration and wanted to fish, he went up there and worked the boats until he found a fit, last I talked too him he was loving it. That's been awhile.
