    Well- while all the drama outside the Ho was unfolding, there was plenty inside the Ho — specifically, trying to remember how to stair stringers — after I wasted an hour and some lumber I gave in and made a clandestine trip to the home of depot and spent 60 bucks on the pre-cut ones and then progress resumed— but I didn’t get the yard work done

    My first house was a total remodel. I did the whole thing with my electricians, except the doors, counter tops, and the stringers for the stairs for the deck.

    Friend of mine was a stupidinattendence at a GC. He did those parts and the concrete.

    It’s just kinda funny how you forget things— like where the jig for the framing square that you can set for stringers is— I know I have one, somewhere, but I couldn’t find the F’n thing in an hour and half and you’re pretty much F’d without it
