My front housing 795 took a crap and locally I am unable to find 795 but I found complete set of 790 . They look exactly the same just wondering if I could switch 795 for 790

The o ring that holds piston on the bottom of the housing cracked piston came out and damaged the hole where piston sits. Can't fix it for now I took the piston out still got the Jakes a lil weaker but it worksBig Road Skateboard Thanks this.

The attached file should answer your question whether you can use 790

Here is a weird thing dealer says my truck did not come with engine brake so it must have been installed later on. And according to your PDF file 790 is what came with 4912 cam and my bk60 has a 4912 cam. So it looks like 790 will workblairandgretchen Thanks this.

Same as I was told by an older mechanic, it was a dealer installed option, at least on my ‘95.
Pac brake was on mine and parts are all but obsolete. Had to go with Jacobs replacement - the PAC was actually much stronger.bruce25 Thanks this. -
795 are near non existent I found few reman online for 1400$ plus 300$ for a core return. Dealer wants 2600$ 2-3 weeks to get it. I'm going to buy these used 790 for 900$ only difference is lash settings 0.26 vs .032
Jakes on mine are pretty weak especially after getting a tune and going with a 78mm turbo barely builds 8 psi of boost while Jakes are on. I been thinking of adding additional 5 inch exhaust brake to add more exhaust pressure hopping formore boost while brakingblairandgretchen Thanks this.
