A Detroit shop. Some independent shops have the Detroit programs as well.

If it has an ECM and a J-port, it’ll hook. Mine is a DD3

Thanks for the replies. I’m close to Wichita, KS

I just have the solid spin on filter with tap.

I will test fuel pressure when I get stuff back together and will also replace the check valve

@1951 ford may have recommendations over there, I’m over Joplin MO way and have a great mechanic here for 12.7. If you get totally stuck.

1951 ford and Rideandrepair Thank this.

Aah - so you’re pulling that solid water separator filter off the frame and it’s only a quarter full?

    Rideandrepair Thanks this.

Check valve probably only affects starting, prevents drainage from the injector lines.

I’m a fan of the ‘sensuous repair’ - Since you is in there, replace the whole system.

I think they’re on the back side of the head.

    What model/year truck?

    Rideandrepair Thanks this.

Ok I’ll keep that in mind. Haven’t had much luck finding anyone around here that has lots of experience with them
