If I were going to get detoured on US 24, I'd just ride it all the way to Oakley instead of getting back on at the 95. I think it crosses 70 at Oakley. If it's 1 bridge they're blowing up, I wonder why they need 30 miles of highway closed.motocross25, IH9300SBA and Adolph Coors Thank this.

Guaranteed ODFL has gotten those tickets before. They have thousands of trucks surely every ticket didn't come across his desk. Like FLD said several states do check it and will write tickets. The eastbound Knoxville, TN scales have a nice little setup they can tow behind a 3/4 ton pickup that looks like some sort of platform scales just for checking ABS.motocross25 and IH9300SBA Thank this.

It runs back into 70 at Colby or you can continue west thru Colby and get on at the Levant exit.
The reason for the distance of the closure is that it’s the only way to get around the overpass on paved highways. The overpass that’s getting demolished is just east of the Collyer exit and I’m sure they didn’t want interstate traffic on the gravel county roads.bryan21384, motocross25 and IH9300SBA Thank this. -
He probably had it written out before you stopped, I know I would've.motocross25 and ElmerFudpucker Thank this.

Looks like slow freight also there . Tough times we are in . Is fcc getting more new trucks in or playing it safe and using what they got

Dropped in Edwardsville in record time, slammed under an empty and headed to Anheuser Busch for a Cheap & Heavy Robinson load. 55 south was coming to a standstill just south of the ball stadium so I jumped off on 7th and ran Broadway down instead of fighting tooth and nail to Arsenal. Once I made the left on Lynch a pickup flew in behind me and lights came on in the windshield and in the grille. St. Louis DOT strikes again. They love this Soulard area I should’ve expected it. Clean level 2 inspection and now I play the waiting game for a door at the brewery. Kicks off in North KC tomorrow morning.
bryan21384, dwells40, IH9300SBA and 5 others Thank this. -
Got a broker load of paper rolls from St. Louis to Omaha tomorrow. My DM sent me a message asking for my ETA to Sullivan this morning but neither my phone nor my tablet ever notified me that he sent the message until i checked just a little bit ago. I suspect i just got what was left in the area since i didn’t get my load information until 3:30 pm
Adolph Coors, motocross25 and IH9300SBA Thank this.
