My truck has cameras all over it. They were installed before I got it from SFI. I was told if I got in a wreck I had to act quick and have the exact time of the incident and then call SFI and they would be able to get a 20 second clip of video.

Well now I own the truck and I guess I would call smart drive myself.

It all seems like a lot to deal with especially if this was after a bad wreck (when you would probably really need video evidence).

I want to install a DVR and keep the video myself. Does anyone know if this is possible?

Might be beneficial to contact Smart Drive for options.

We had these in our trucks, just hit the green button and it goes back 10 seconds and saves the recording. You can set the timed length of the saved video.Probably have to contact Smartdrive to set up your own account to get your saved videos.
