FCC--Fremont Contract Carriers

Parked in CB. Still have a slow leak in that trailer tire and I just couldn’t make myself drop it that way. So the plan is for it to get changed in the morning. Possibly I’ll get the truck issues addressed and service done at the same time. APU has had a leak in the coolant line for about a week, one of the other wheel seals is sus, and there’s some fuel seepage from one of the lines that was repaired under warranty six months or so ago.

 

Mine lasted about a year after I got the truck, not sure of its total lifespan.

When I was coming home they were putting a reader board out in front of the Shell in York that said it was closed. I can’t believe people would just take off without checking the radar or anything.

I just saw a truck leave belleville loves. He wont get far. Make that 3 trucks.

 

Day 3 of my ~2500 mile trip starts tomorrow. Made it to Hinton, OK this afternoon and i’ll be stopping somewhere in Mississippi tomorrow. I initially thought i would have to take a reset somewhere else but it looks like i’ll have enough recap hours to make it all the way to Ellabell on Tuesday before taking a 34 and delivering Thursday morning since i gain zero time Wednesday

Normal shenanigans on I-40 but i’ve been running 65 mosty since CA so i’ve stayed out of a lot of stupidity. It’s amazing how going a little slower does wonders for stress levels
