1, you don’t wait until it’s full. Use odor controlling, clumping kitty litter. Flush it down a toilet. I would only use it in emergencies and not all the time. Only in cases when you know you’re not going to make it to a restroom. I would never leave it somewhere that other people would have to deal with it. I’m not that kind of person. I’m sure there are a lot of nasty people that would.

It went to the bottom of the bucket pretty quick.

I read in another thread that you’re on that you’re worried about your poop issues while training. Don’t sweat it. Tell your trainer up front and plan on watching your diet and plan on taking care of emergencies between the tandems. I wouldn’t suggest a poop bucket on a team truck.

Maybe adult diapers would be a good option?

That’s why you put a tall kitchen trash bag in the bucket.

Flushing kitty litter is not advisable lit absorbs water gets tacky and will stop up a line

In an emergency it’s better than literally in the pants or seat.

I applaud your plan to put the contents in a toilet. I now ask if you think lugging a 5 gallon bucket with said contents through a truck stop sounds like something you want to be doing or expect the truck stop will welcome? Remember you are a good guy, you have no ill intentions. The truck stop doesn't know that. For all they know you are some random hobo with a bucket full of who knows what headed for the restrooms or is it the restaurant?

There is a way to accomplish exactly what you are trying to accomplish and put the contents into the toilet. At the moment the gory details can be filled in later. It can be done, it's easy, it's clean. You are smart for thinking about a plan for the emergency situation. That's how you get the good outcome. Too many people deny the emergency will happen and when they are wrong they are left with a desperate panic and whatever is right in front of them, whether those work, are clean, etc and that generates an ugly situation and one more black mark on the industry, pardon the unintentional pun.
