i ran a little less on SWR. However i took 2 full days off at home, vs just a 34. They’re fine with whichever you want

 

Like others have said, they’ll run you as hard as you want. I personally have no desire to run 150-160k miles a year. I’m here to drive, make a decent living, and have a good home life, not burn myself out. 120-130k is just fine with me and i still make good money. I usually stay out for 3-4 weeks and go home for 4-6 days, sometimes a full week

 

I was curious about how many days they would let drivers take off at once. Thats good they are so flexible.

 

I had 134k last year and could have run a bit more. Indiana I think is hard to get out of sometimes (I wound up sitting for 3-4 days around the 4th of July and have to take an an extra day or two coming out of the house a couple times and they often will send me home a couple days early).
They are pretty laid back about how long you want to stay home. I've never been questioned staying home for nearly a week, usually run 3-5 weeks out then home 4-6 days. I've heard of someone being told they are taking too much time off but I think that was a pretty extreme case.
I'm a bit familiar with Northeast Oklahoma. Grew up in Caney, Kansas right over the line and used to go to Bartlesville all the time for shopping. Also had family in Bartlesville and Spavinaw.

 

I live in Kansas, Oklahoma close to the Arkansas state line. I am familiar with the area your from. I go through there on my way to Wichita to see my parents.

 

I live in central KS and i’ve been to Oklahoma a bunch. Only been through the northeast part a handful of times. I know I-35 through the state like the back of my hand though

 

My dad's family is from caney. Couple cousins are teachers there.

 

For some reason i get dispatched on loads of gearboxes going to Waverly only for them to be pulled off me the next day. This is the 2nd time it has happened

 

first time i’ve used anti-gel this season. It’s below zero here in central IL so when i stopped to fuel up, I tossed a bottle in each tank. Up in Ohio it’s not supposed to even make it out of the teens today so good insurance.

I’m not sure why FCC doesn’t have tank heaters on their trucks. Magnum did and i ran #2 diesel down to 20 below with no problems. Of course when it’s that cold, they always told us to throw #1 diesel in

 

For me diesel number one is better when it's below 10°
