What if it Snows?

Have the attacks of the Southwestern Cactus-Eating Rats been mitigated?

 

I got a load Sunday. Have to move around 0430. God willing the house won't freeze. It shouldn't. I want to get incandescent light bulbs. It looks you cant get them due to an alphabet agency. I can buy a temp switch that would turn on and the have the light bulbs provide heat. Get a three bulb fixtures. 3 75 watt light bulbs. A back up to the space heater. So the well pump doesn't crack.

 

So I hung up a starling effigy yesterday. First one got pulled off the fence by some critter. This one I put on the tree where my suet feeders are. Saw a couple of Mr. Effigy's Comrades giving him the once over. Seems to work as they have steered clear.
Next one is going under my platform feeder. Pukaw !

 

Heat lamp like we use for chickens. You can still get those. Screw into a regular light fixture
