I absolutely, truly love it. I love it rough roads, terrible city traffic and all! This has been a childhood dream come true. I grew up in the late 60’s early 70’s so it’s everything I thought it was…. Except for the -issy parking lots. Good grief, can they not find a little grass? That part is bad! The other morning when I did my pre trip someone had walked between my cowling and fuel tank and let out a gallon! At least he didn’t mark his territory on my truck.

@Opus that optimized idle, dude! I sleep right through it. I only hear it when I’m awake. I’m serious, when I sleep, it’s like I have left this planet.

Be up and gone by 5 and be landed by 5 and you'll be fine

Ok thanks! I’m an early riser anyway. I like to get up at 3 or 4 and get my day done and get parked before the lots get full. That searching will get you in trouble every time. I had to pay the other night $10 to park. I ran 10 hours and 58 minutes. That’s how close I’ve been cutting it. I know better now!!

This trucking thing is everything that I thought it would be and I really do love it. Only thing that gets on my nerves is that tablet. It’s like a red headed crying whining infant in your lap that belongs to someone else with a dirty diaper that you have to tend to while wheeling around in an 80,000 lb truck! Maybe I should get a diaper and wrap it up and set it up on my dash for the world to get a laugh out of!

Now...imagine doing all you are now doing & learning....PLUS -- working a trailer (example: flatbed) -- strapping, chaining, weight distribution issues, dealing with wet/frozen/muddy tarps (that are also heavy), etc...all while learning to drive a big rig, work the tablet functions, etc....

Yeah....I know....people do it all the time.....but I still think it's smarter/better...to learn how to drive a big rig FIRST -- then later...get cute with freight types. o_O

No way Jose!! They can keep the 100+ lb tarps, chains I don’t mind. I hate tarps! I’d rather be French kissed by grizzly bear than to ever deal with another tarp. We used those on the farm to cover up our combines before we built machine sheds. I hated tarps so bad growing up…

Always know where you're going to park......sometimes it might be spot 'A' sometimes it won't......that's the reason you need parking lot choices 'B' and 'C'.
Do you use Truckerpath (you don't have to necessarily pay for it) or similar apps? Look into it. They're mighty helpful.

I tried to but they cut me off. Can’t use until I pay $30/month. So I’ve been using my iPhone only to find it, then my tablet navigation to get to it. I also only use Google earth to look it over but never to get to it. Car map apps will get you into trouble So Fast! I learned that from a “Yahoo” on YouTube. He used Google Maps and it took him right downtown in some city. I thought, You FruitLoop you’re the reason Bonehead Truckers has a channel!!
