Looks about the same as a shop would do.

So most days I truly don’t enjoy trucking anymore, the good days are far and few between, but today was a great day. I saw some absolutely beautiful scenery today. Ran about 250 miles of two lane roads in Montana. This morning I ran into snow covered roads most of the way once I turned off of I90 headed Up to Kalispell Ran along Swan Lake, saw tons of wild life and made the delivery.

Originally since this was a dealer load I was just going to deadhead back to Lincoln, but they asked if I could bounce over to Eugene, Oregon for a load going back to Shelby, Iowa. So I will load there in the morning.

The drive back to I90 running back roads dropped me not far from the base of Lookout Pass. That was a great drive around Flathead lake and through the Flathead Valley to get back to I90.

The last week for me was pretty much regional work. I'm guessing so they could figure out how to get me home in time for my requested days. 365 miles, pick up a load, and unload in 9 and a half hours is not what I'm used to so I was more than a little aggravated when I go to pickup a preload that wasn't going to be ready for another 6 hours. I went and took 7 off to start a split, and went back for the trailer later. Hopefully when I get back from home time its back to the normal NE to West Coast routine.

Another day where i’m ending my day a lot later than i would usually. I don’t like starting late at 7 or 8 am. Unfortunately i can’t really afford to cut a day short since i'm on regional now so i guess i'll just suffer for now. Shut down at KCMO and will roll towards Arkansas tomorrow morning

they must’ve desperately needed the product that was on my trailer. A yard dog was waiting for me to drop it then immediately grabbed it and put it in a door IMG_4933.jpeg

Leaving out in the morning to drop my empty trailer at Mohawk in Dalton, then bobtail over to the drop yard for a loaded trailer going to Mars in Columbia SC. (Can someone give me the lowdown on these?)

Then planned on a load from Sumter SC to Broken Bow NE. (Same, any help will be appreciated)

    IH9300SBA and MidWest_MacDaddy Thank this.

Didn’t realize we still had a drop yard in N Ga anymore. Columbia SC is a drop 24/7 easy in and out. Sumter should be preloaded, enter the gate code to the drop lot, find your paperwork in the shack, leave a signed copy, drop your empty, grab your loaded trailer and roll. Broken Bow drop 24/7

Knucklehead, Friend, IH9300SBA and 2 others Thank this.

    Ya, what he said.

You got a few easy days ahead.
    (unless we just jinx’d you)

Three of my favorite customers… all fairly smooth just about every time I’ve been there… and you have them back to back to back.

    Enjoy… :)

Had to get my quarterly inspection done today, with a random drug test thrown in. I had some things going on a couple weeks ago and ended up not being able to leave out until Thursday. So I’ve just been taking a couple days off during the week. No complaints about that since they can keep me moving over the weekends. He asked when I wanted to leave and I said Friday was fine again. I mentioned that I wouldn’t mind making a trip out west just to get out of the Midwest loop for a week and was told “there is zero chance of going west for a while” so I guess I will just stay in my loop and keep my mouth shut.
