I totally agree. I ran a 1400 mile each way run and it was perfect for easy going recaps. 2800 miles per week x 4 = 11,200 miles per month. Other drivers on the same account did resets each week.

yea i noticed more shorter loads , especially with dry van. I was with a reefer company for 3 years, almost all their loads were 1500-2500 miles but they shut down. Still not dedicated. So sometimes had to go to places i didn't want to go. I will check those companies out, good leads !bryan21384 Thanks this.

Dry van has gotten shorter for sure . The whole short haul thing doesn't seem to be reality amongst all freight. Iv always chosen long haul jobs. There's tons of reefer companies that still run coast to coast . Hell even flatbed companies do if you search them out .

Still have to get that chicken from Georgia to LA and that produce from Watsonville to Atlanta.

I regularly go from the south to the West Coast .
