lol it’s funny because when Mike is mentioned around the holland shop or offices it’s clear they can’t stand him.

That’s the truth. I mentioned him to another former driver and he just called him an ####### and walked away. So yeah that opinion is definitely shared. -

I see a few of their trucks running out west now & then but not nearly as much as there used to be. It looks like they have a couple of 2024 trucks but other than that most of their equipment looks old & beat up.
by contrast I’m seeing a lot of brand new equipment here.Lonesome Thanks this. -
Yes I know Holland is in growth mode and they have a rock solid safety score too. Hats off to Karla!
TB John Thanks this. -
I was having some doubts this past week after leaving the house. Did nothing but short loads between Chicago and NJ for that week after getting out of the house. then finally got a load going west after I let dispatch know safety needed me back in the yard because of a problem with the e log tablet. The whole tariff mess sounds like it’s having a bad effect on freight.
Lonesome and Knucklehead Thank this. -
They don’t even pick up the phone when you call them. Probably about to shut down and stand their drivers.
Anonymousproxy Thanks this. -
They probably won’t last long enough to carry out the relocation to MN that Mike was planning. Their OOS rate has gotten worse and from what I’ve been hearing the toxicity and micromanaging has also gotten worse… even firing drivers for refusing to fudge e- logs.
I looked at their you tube channel and there hasn’t even been the usual “minute with Mike”(basically where he preaches his “accountability” and EOS garbage) since the end of last year.Lonesome Thanks this. -
I think the tariffs will impact trucking. Dryvan will slow drastically as no retail freight will be moving and that will force them trucks to bleed over into the cold side. I think trucking will see some decline until things settle down for the economy.
Anonymousproxy, Knucklehead and Lonesome Thank this.
