Well, that's close enough to the Fox Valley, and there is a lot of industry there. I'm from NC Wisconsin, where the economy is practically decimated. The last paper outfit in Park Falls closed, and a virtual ghost town. People are bailing on properties there is no market for. Great for retired folks, but Medford is about as close to work as you will get. I wasn't the only one leaving the Badger, me and 123,000( per year) others left the state, and guess where they are coming? Yep, good old Colorado,. A side by side home, all the rage now, they knock down some beautiful big home, and put up 6 side by sides. They go for $1900/month, and a waiting list to move in. What some are doing here, is splitting their lot in 2, and build a garage and living quarters above the garage. It's nuts!

That's awesome. You're the perfect example of making it happen. Sounds like you have a great wife too!

So now I live at Home Depot next to a no over night parking sign. No showers no bathrooms no food no per diem no motel room. Why didn’t anyone tell me driving a day cab sucks. I’m freakin sore!
