Driverless trucks are now running Dallas - Houston

look around and see what we have now, there has been a lot of driverless trucks running for years now. It only appears there is a driver but in reality they just hold the steering wheel and try not to put it in a ditch or park in the fuel aisle to take a shower.

 

They saying no driver in truck at all. That sounds crazy and hard to believe. Tesla has not even got that far with years of data from their cars.

 

I think we should all panic....

 

The wrecks of robot trucks with human & zombie-driven vehicles will slow this "revolution".

 

I can't wait to rob one of these . Think about how easy stealing fuel would be with no driver nearby.

 

They must be fueling them up before the run.

For those convinced robot trucks will put truck drivers out of business, why aren't all the dispatchers & load planners unemployed? Why aren't train crews all unemployed? It's far simpler to automate those jobs.

Just because some tech bros issue a press release & some local TV station runs the story & pretends they were being journalists, it doesn't mean the story is significant. It happened. The rest is hype & imagination. It's good to monitor events in the industry
