worst truckstop ever

Thinking you're talking about the closed Truckstop on the north end of town on US285; closed during the summer of 2009 I was told. The restaurant is still open but that's it. Need fuel when passing through Roswell? There is a chain of card locks that take some company cards and Visa; none are located on US 285 though. Otherwise, you'll have to bobtail to a local convenience store that sells diesel fuel.

The c-store is filthy, I agree with you on that. The diner has okay food, though.

 

Sounds like the Marathon truck stop. The one with the old White Castle next to it that's a little independent place now.

 

The one off of I-10 and 51st Avenue is a QuikTrip now. Good news! No more paying to park.

 

Last time I stopped in that place I thought I made a wrong turn and wound up in darfur. All the truck stops in Dallas are toilets

 

That’s one place I avoid like the plague. Last time I stopped there was in the late 90’s during my meat hauling days(back when trans am was a good small company). I despise that whole area with a passion.

 

That place is pretty bad. I think they filmed some of Mad Max there

 

The last time I stopped at the petro in west Memphis I went to get a shower and was told no showers. The guy in line behind me got one no problem.

the next morning went to use the bathroom and someone decided to have a spell of diarrhea all over the store… let staff know and they obviously didn’t care… since then I’ve had absolute hatred towards that area. Every one of the places there have lazy attitudes amongst staff.
