So is there a way to get a bit more power out of these Freightliners? I see a M/A button but that just seems to switch between Economy and Performance Modes. (Which doesn’t seem to actually do anything) not seeing a manual mode to down shift etc. maybe I’m blind.
also, no cruise in this thing. Going to hard reset the Truck in the morning and see if that makes a difference. Breakdown thought since it was telling me that I don’t have adaptive cruise that maybe that issue turned off cruise too.
could be worse, could be a manual

Or… and hear me out… I could simply ask the fine folks that run this type of truck each and every day…

On mine, tapping the M/A button cycles between Economy and Performance and a long press (holding it in for a sec) puts it in manual. On mine even in economy you can command a shift by flipping the lever as well just like you would to shift in manual (though it usually will shift back pretty quick).
I know on 1623 manual did not work and it had a lot of stuff turned off which annoyed me (if I wasn't a decrepit old fart I'd remember the details).Goody3635, Friend, Knucklehead and 2 others Thank this. -
Escaped BD after about 4 1/2 hours.
Saw a bit of stupid drama. CFI driver and his partner were a couple doors down from me for a couple hours. Their trailer had apparently been done for a while because one of the yard dogs came by to rouse them and clear the door. They pulled forward and parked in front of the row of dropped trailers with their backside sticking about 3' out in front of the next empty slot and began to contemplate swinging their doors. FedEx Freight shows up and of course his drop slot is the one they are blocking, so he tries to set up to get in in spite of the truck. They meander to the back doors and then proceed to lose their crap why FedEx is trying to back in a spot so close to them (NARRATOR: because they assign drop slots at the gate). They carry on for a minute before verrrry slowly closing their doors and finally heading to the gate after a minute or two more. So FedEx is blocked sitting crossways to the aisle for 5 minutes or so. How bleeping hard is it to move forward 10 feet or so then do your business unhurried without worrying you or the truck are going to get hit?Goody3635, Friend, Knucklehead and 4 others Thank this. -
At least it's not as bad as the Samsarra voice, she sounded and talked like an intern who hates truck drivers in general and you in particular.Friend, Knucklehead, rokue and 1 other person Thank this.

is there a good way to get rocks out of tires? I've tried using my 5th wheel puller with limited success. Works great with steers but the tread pattern on my drives makes it difficult to fish rocks out
Friend and Knucklehead Thank this.
