I found a job on Craigslist, but it’s not what you think

Reputation goes a long way. All the years I drove for the flatbed company in Montana I was inspected maybe a handful of times, most of the time they just wanted to check overweight permits. But my old boss had a reputation of running top notch equipment and all the trucks got washed at least once per week.

I go thru vegas maybe 2 or 3 times a week.. its a dump and getting worse. Always has been.

We used to visit there when i was child. At the ripe old age of 12 years old i witnessed my first drug deal go down in the parking lot of a wendys, where after the deal went down the buyer proceeded to take out a knife and stab the dealer repeatedly in broad daylight. fantastic childhood memory i have there.
Last summer i went to load at the drywall plant on the north east side , cutting thru the area right by nellis afb. 2 homeless guys beating eachother up , one had a knife and was swinging at the guy trying to cut him. I continued on about my day and came back 2 hours later to the road being completely closed and the same guys both laying dead in the street and 30 cops standing around.

In the past 2 years i have had 2 seperate people point guns out of their window at me simply because i honked at them after almost wrecking into me. Maybe 3 or 4 weeks ago someone tried a full out insurance scam and brake checked me to a full stop on the interstate . I was able to avoid hitting the idiot and he then peeled off, scam unsuccesful . Im sure he wasnt inspired to do any of that by the 45 billboards on the interstate saying they can get u millions of dollars if a truck hits u.

Thats not to mention the bouts of street racing and absolute horrible driving witnessed thru there each time i roll thru. It is worse than LA. Worse than PHX. The entire city is full of degenerate losers and the california tards have made it worse the last couple years...

I dont live there so maybe this is all just a coincidence and bad luck. But none if this crap happens to me in any other city in north america...
Apparently i am so traumatized of driving there i now just hit the right lane and do 55mph. Until im far and away north of the city, just waiting for some degenerate to do something stupid

Dude people get away with that #### everyday. When they get caught they change dot numbers till they get caught again. Rinse and repeat.

 

I delivered CalPortland Cement to Vegas and as far north as Provo Driving for Valley Bulk pulling tankers and flats 2002 thru 2014. So, then I was there daily, Since I've made frequent deliveries for USPS, Whole Foods and running up to Creech AFB. I know the north Vegas is kind of raunchy. but there's allot of Vegas that's not bad. I'm not a fan of the place.
I've never had any problems there, but I stay away from its TruckStop.
