regional is the way to go in my opinion. Out enough to make money and travel a bit but home a lot more often than OTR. I've done a couple stints running OTR at my company but I keep going back to regional. I run a lot of the same lanes so I'm super familiar with them, and I never have trouble finding parking any time of day because of that
I don't like local jobs because they tend to work you like a dog. What's the point of going home every night if you only have time to basically eat dinner and sleep

Where Im at hometime policy is 11/3 or 21/5. I do the latter as I like the longer hometime.

BUT that's for trucking though... If I could find a better career where I can be home everyday then I'd choose that lol. -
What moron ever came up with the 7 day 1 off? Should be like a halfway normal schedule like most working stiffs who stay home. 5 days at work 2 off. And they get to go home every night. So why can't it be 2 days off for every 5 days worked? 10.days on the road, 4 days home
20 days on the road, 8 days home. Wishful thinking. Yea 3 days off for 21 days, first day off unload the truck in a zombie state crash innthe bed.. 2nd day off do chores , laundry etc. 3rd day pack load the truck up..some lifeLonwolv54 Thanks this. -
