So much for this shipper loading on time. Pickup window opened and closed without my load getting loaded. At this point, I will deliver when I get around to it, just like they loaded it.

@supersnackbar did the home front tell you about the pedestrian fatality yesterday on 41 just north of where you live? Unfortunately at around 5AM a 73 year old man was struck while walking north and as a result passed away, Ive been running that road all week taking rock up to nutrien in white springs, doesnt seem like a safe road to walk in the day light let alone in the dark. I had to reroute on cr778 I believe over to fort white and up.

If it's preloaded and a drop why can't they just extend your window and you just roll when it's safe And legal to do so

Costco wants it dropped by a certain time and date. Ops makes it sound like they get dinged if we don't drop by the assigned time. And this is a fairly new account, so they are trying not to screw it up. As far as I am concerned, they can shove this dedicated account where the sun don't shine.

This is the last Aurora Costco load I'll do for a while. This 700 mile load is gonna use 3 day, so I am back to loads that are under 300 miles a day.

They have found a creative way to beat paying detention time on these loads. The instructions are wait off site and not to show up and check in until you are sent the loaded trailer number. That way they don't have an 'arrived at shipper' message to show a start time for detention.
