You can negotiate for more money if you think the deadhead is a little long.

 

I take that back maybe don't park at the TA in Clayton. Did my pretrip and found a trailer door open that I'm convinced was closed. Thankfully the only thing in the back was some dust and a couple of old straps

Got the truck serviced and will be headed to Moorestown, NJ.
Wound up taking a while to get a load out of here due to this and that. Trailer is in for some spa time then depending how it plays I’ll run a couple hours and shut down or wait until near morning and get rolling. Working on trying to dodge as much traffic nonsense as possible while also mincing my steps enough to not burn my clock early.
Got to chat with Runningman again which was nice.

 

Trailer got out of the shop, went to grab it and the camera on the truck died. It would be nice if my ability to break equipment by existing in its vicinity could take a little break.

 

I never use that camera anyway

 

I think I just had flashbacks… lol

The other area to avoid is the “shorter” route up to BD in CT… worth the time and fuel to run the directions as given… she has nice curves but a bit tight at times. (Insert Joke Here)

 

They had me in and out in less than half an hour.
