Great plains transport not so great

I saw one of their “Penske”trucks a couple weeks ago. And a few trailers sitting at a Tyson warehouse near Peru Ill…. I’m surprised they are even in business.. nothing new on the website or socials.
I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s trying to hide stuff from the repo agents….

I went through the area about a week ago in that premier service place had several rows of blue tractors, parked out back,

 

So Great Plains is finally moved? Did they move to Fargo?

 

They got a new address listed but it’s just a house address… last I heard was they were going all remote on office staff and Penske for equipment…other than that there’s been nothing announced on their social pages or website.

 

Definately sounds like they’re hiding assets- taking a page out of the 1099 Chicagoland outfit playbook.

 

Not sure how true this is. However heard the news from a friend who is Valley express driver out of Fargo, supposedly they’re going to do the traditional Nebraska style, warm bodies straight from Kenya.

 

The warning signs are there. Equipment being moved without any transparency,no updates from staff or on the company’s website about a change of location.
And chances are the creditors are probably looking for their assets (tractors and trailers).
How many times have we seen something like this play out over the years?

 

I’ve seen two GPT trucks in recent days, both in the Grand Forks area pulling loads. I didn’t have a chance to try and talk to the drivers about what’s going on there.
