Thanks and will-do Chicken. That's great David. Shelia is an absolute trip and a great driver. Today was grueling... Spent almost 5 hours waiting on the phys and drug test! But its done. Now I gotta make a little side $ till the 17th. Sooooo broke!

So this monday (10th) I start at JCCTDT and I can't wait.
I'm 37, originally from England and have been here in NC for 4 years. Wasn't allowed to work for 3 of those (Visa issues) and haven't worked for the past year despite trying hard. So not only do I have the shock of the school, and Della says it's HARD, but I also have the shock of going back to a formal routine - but I'm thrilled at the challenge.
I've been reading the forums here and have gleaned some fascinating insight, so thanks to everyone who has posted their experience. If I have time, I will keep y'all updated on how I'm doing and my own experiences.

Good luck, diesel and wish you the best. As a recent grad, my advice is to listen, use your time to the fullest and relax. The instructors are some of the most amazing, albeit interesting, people.

Deisel, I agree with camofrawg. If you pay attention, and give an honest effert, you will suceed. But if you go in and do things half hearted, Be the classs clown or the class know-it-all you will fail. Remember that all the instructors at JCC want you to suceed and will help you all they can. They are a great bunch of guys, and instructors. Best of luck, and Welcome to the site.
Camofrawg83, you are right. Sheila is a great person, and an she is a good driver. I don't thing I'm trainning her, but more like along for the ride. With her past experience, I am more just Introducing her to the people along the routes.kickin chicken Thanks this. -
