And I just got the fleet wide message from Mimick about the reefer fuel being added to the fuel solution fleet wide starting today. 1st thing I asked my dispatcher was 'will non-compliance with the reefer fuel solution count against us when receiving our performance/safety bonus"...I haven't gotten a response yet.

Going to be interesting to see how they deal with fill ups before dropping.

dispatch swears that it's supposed to set you up to fuel before dropping. And then it's supposed to tell you where to fuel the empty you picked up before dropping it at the next shipper. I told him that from what I have heard, it doesn't. He said to request a new fuel solution when it doesn't...so now we have to request a new solution #### near all the time. I also asked him who I call to transfer over to Crete because $.02/mile isn't worth all the bs reefer has to deal with, and this is the last straw.

I am sitting at the W-mart in Porterville, CA waiting on speedy to answer me about an empty. This is a dry warehouse, so Shaffer doesn't have any empty trailers here. I may just have them swap me to Crete now and give Shaffer the finger.

Just ignore the #### thing and fuel the reefer up like you always had been. I continue to do it like I have been… It’s not that difficult

Someone from Lincoln called and asked what the problem was, I told him about the f'd up fuel solutions ya'll have talked about (told him I spoke to drivers not that it's being posted on here). He said that's a glitch that needs to be addressed and that if it happens again, call Lincoln so they can address it. And they're doing everything they can to keep me from popping the chute on Shaffer and moving to Crete...this isn't the only issue I have with the Shaffer side, but it hasn't helped me wanting to stay.

And they're bobtailing me to Fresno to pick up an empty.

I ended up picking up an almost brand new trailer. It was down to just under 1/2 tank of fuel. So, my fuel solution said only put 16 gal in (which wouldn't fill a trailer to full, for a customer who ships ice cream). So, I filled it completely. Showed up to pick up my load and it took 45 minutes to get my paperwork and do a drop and hook and get out of there. All that extra time burned waiting for a decision on where to get a trailer, then get the trailer back to the shipper and get out of there has now made it very difficult to make OTD, and frankly, I DGAFF. I told dispatch about it, and my lack of enthusiasm. While I was on the phone with the wife, Lincoln calls, which goes to voicemail. The message was a request I call them for a chat. 5 minutes later, another call, but no voicemail. Then I got a message on the Peoplenet, something along the lines of "I thought we resolved this" blah blah blah. Needless to say, when it came to my truck's fuel stop(with no reefer fuel shown), my reefer on my loaded trailer got a fill up as well, because I DGAFF. Write me up, I don't care.

the driver of the flatbed, which is HMD out of Chicago nearly ran over the driver of hurricane express.

He was walking back to his truck to the point where the flatbedder driver actually gunned on the throttle, and from what I could see the front of the truck either barely touched the driver or just barely missed him it was that close…HMD was blowing his horn as well…

The mirrors on the Volvo fold in with a slap of the hand. If I were the Hurricane driver, I would have slapped his mirror as he went by so hard it would have broke his side window....then fell on the ground holding my head as if he hit me...would be good for a half million settlement and a ahort stay in the grat bar hotel for the flatbed.
