Snackbar is chillin'....at Shaffer

Got to my receiver just before my appointment. Took a few hours to unload, but that was fine, Ops was still waiting on the customers for my next load to set times. While I was waiting, Mike M called me (apparently they are really concerned about a driver that can do the job without having to have their hand held wanting to go to the dry side). We discussed all of what has been pissing me off, including the
new reefer fuel solution. He swears that they are changing the minimum amount it recommends to no less than 20 gal...and he did some research on that fuel non-compliance in June where I could only put 90 gal in the truck and it wanted 99. For some reason, our system thinks I fueled at a Sheetz, not the Love's where I was told, but there is no Sheetz even close. I assured him it was the Love's...and I pulled up the receipt after I got done for the day and was gonna send him a copy, but the email address I thought was his failed the delivery.


Now on to my load. I pick up in Selah tomorrow and head to NJ for Wednesday morning...2900 miles with the deadhead. And, enough time to get another run or two in by Friday. Mike said they are still working out the bugs in the new fuel solution, and they need to hear about any issues. Well, we're gonna talk tomorrow because on the email of the fuel stops I got, it doesn't match what the CoPilot (or what is on my messaging tab on the Crete app). On the app, it has me putting 9 gal of reefer fuel in Billings, then 30 in MN...and the last fuel stop on the CoPilot isn't on the email..but on the app's message, it has me filling twice at the TA in NJ (including 2 amounts of reefer fuel and the same place). I messaged him, and basically said, I will just fuel like we have always done and ignore the solution for reefer fuel, and if they want to write me up, feel free.

And I just delivered the load of ice cream by 1030 this morning. I just got a message telling me that they haven't received the scan of the paperwork yet...and it's only been 5 ####ing hours. J.C. Almighty, give me a ####ing break. I honestly can't wait until Brakebush has an opening....this place is turning into a real nightmare of a company.

 

They better get some earplugs and thicker skin...they call me during my off duty time, they're gonna get some extremely offensive, high volume words, right before they get hung up on.


And I just looked, and they didn't pay me back for the "after beef" washout that I paid cash for. #### Shaffer...
