That one on the westbound side that is closer to OH was already huge, then they shut it down and are already remodeling and expanding it. They need to add a 2nd one on the eastbound side between Indy and OH instead expanding that 2nd westbound one.

 

What they REALLY need to do is find someone who can actually build a road that doesn't include ramps and speedbumps and have them build a road that doesn't launch you out of your seat every 1/4 mile.

 

truer words have never been spoken. IL to Indy isn't great, but Indy to OH line is downright atrocious. I hate pulling a spring ride trailer across that stretch...or anything really

 

And they somehow do construction all along there and turn every pothole into 2 crappy concrete patch’s that are rougher than the original pothole…

 

I live in Indy and if I'm running east I'll run 74 to 275 in Cincinnati then grab 71 up to Columbus. I get paid for out of route miles but even if I didn’t I still wouldn't run east on 70.

 

True… those are nice too. I rarely time it right to stop there. I like the ones that you are actually able to swing around to different lanes. Hate those that if you pick the wrong lane, you can’t get to the other lane without going off roading.

I also think all the Toll Roads that have switched to electronic tolling could take all the old cash toll booths out and just make it Truck Parking… good use of those large concreted areas.
