Truckingtruth.com now defunct

I would always head over there after this site and reddit. It was more fun watching Bruce drive all the mods crazy, then to get any trucking advice from there. 50% was just AI accounts posting stuff. It went to #### the past couple years. There was a truckers wife that always posted encouraging and helpful posts, but she passed away a couple years ago. Still was a handful of experienced and helpful truckers. Had a nice small town feel for a while.

 

Used that site 10 years ago just to get info for the companies he had on there and to do CDL prep. Nothing had been updated on it whenever my wife was getting her CDL 3 years ago, so we went with better options for her to practice her tests and such. But the actual forum side was so full of drama and wasn’t very helpful and constantly pushing the Mega’s. Basically in their opinion anything smaller then a mega was a waste of time because they didn’t have the “freight or benefits” to keep any driver long term. Or some BS like that.

 

I never heard of the joint, but I just did a quick peruse of The Driving Truth. From the looks of the traffic, lack thereof, I'd say it's time in cyber space will be short lived.

I believe her name was Anne. She was a real sweet lady and very helpful and pleasant.

 

One of their mods was also all about western express's flatbed division. Not in the "they're not so bad" vein but that they are a positively good option and the pages and pages of bad reviews and warnings to stay far away from that company are simply untrue.

 

There are also a couple on youtube one called "Mutha Trucker " and one called "Bonehead Truckers' the later seems to be totally focused on running down people of a certain race that are causing major traffic incidents. I'm surprised YouTube has not taken it off air yet.

 

Trucking Truth was full of a bunch of sensitive egos...

They liked to paint a picture that didn't exist.. #bootlickers..
