Been parked at the Loves in Boardman OR for almost 24h. Kept getting the same msg about "You are approching a DOT scale in Plymouth Washington..." etc. Been parked and not moving and nowhere near Plymouth.. had to send a msg to get them to stop...

The planners are ####ing retarded. Had a load delivering early this morning about 90miles from the house, which im supposed to be at for Christmas. Assumed that was my load home. Then yesterday they plan me on a load that picksup 70mi away 5hrs later, that I cant get early, going 250miles south then back it up with a load going back north to get me home. They want me to do another run? Fine, but they cant at least make it ####ing productive and have some leeway for issues? No instead everything has to go ####ing perfectly for me to make it home tomorrow. SUPPOSEDLY I have an 8am appointment for delivery tomorrow but directions say its first come first serve which can be iffy.only bright spot is i at least got my asset manager to back this ####show up with a decent load after Christmas. If everything goes well, im looking at maybe 1800-1900mi for the week. Im sure things are a mess, but ####, JUST NEEDED TO VENT

 

I was still parked backed up to the swap trailer I was taking to Texas. It was taken some time during the night and I never heard a thing.

 

I kept getting approaching 55 mph California speed warnings even though I was in Colorado by then.......

 

After 4.5 years theres no reason to work for a mega. Go shopping for a better outfit and get away from the stupid side of the industry. theres a million different things to do in trucking as far as pulling trailers and types of companies to work for.. i think every single one of us has hit that wal at some point, ive been there more than once, but i find im only really happy doing my own thing regardless if i can make more money doing something else.. just go try different stuff and see what u like.

 

Big Maude says that swill ain't worth 10 cents a case, much less 5 bucks a case.
