ONLY YOU can decide what is good pay and what is bad pay. If it pays your bills and the conditions and schedule are OK for you, why do you care what anyone else thinks about it? Every working driver should always have a backup job that will hire them today, in case something happens at their current job. After that, it's not good to keep looking for reasons to quit a job that is paying your bills.
People who live in high cost of living states will scoff at good paying jobs in low cost of living areas. Unless someone is telling your their financial details AND their opinion about your pay, it's just noise. If you are happy, stay happy. Don't believe every claim that some stranger you just met is making a lot more money. I never made big money in trucking.MACK E-6, Gearjammin' Penguin and Wargames Thank this. -
If it pays your bills, you’re good to go

Probably not too bad considering you’re working bankers hours. I didn’t know any trucking was 8 hours a day. At least you have 6 days.

Why ask others? Are you happy with it? Whats your thoughts?

If you're not BRINGING HOME $1300 - $1500 a week driving a truck in this day and age...you're getting ripped off.

I would love that pay for those hours provided that I was able to live in the truck. I'm trying to work less not more.

It's 8 hours a day if you work every day and never restart. Of course we all know that there's plenty of work "off the clock"OldeSkool Thanks this.
