I had an offer to do a bunch of loads for big O…
Says they were moving 80/day up to Illinois. They may. But not at that rate due me. Short 330 miles, 2 days to do it, load around 12-1 pm then deliver around 1-2 the next afternoon?? they say give us rate! I did. Then they say… well, we’re thinking…. $678.
And I said keep them. Means after driver and fuel truck will make like maybe $200 for 2 days even for their drivers.
Say .60/mile(dunno what their van drivers get what I got on tankers there) $198
    So 678-198. 6 mpg at $5/gal 55 gallonx$5 $275, down to $205 with 2 days tied up.
Nothing left after ducks fly away.
Sure changed there since I left there years ago.

At least you’re out of the northeast. I was heading north out of Dallas today on I-35 and I use my own app for navigation. I was also using the navigation on the Crete tablet to see if they matched up. . The tablet wanted me to exit the highway, turn down a two lane road and then drive across Lake Lewisville. When I didn’t the map showed I was off course and the arrow started spinning around. I just shook my head and laughed.

CoPilot has always been a joke. I would trust Google Maps before I ever trust CoPilot.

    Cherokee65,
Let me know where you're going to after your delivery. If you are heading towards Ocala after delivery maybe we can meet up at one of the 5 truck stops in the area.

    austinmike and Cherokee65 Thank this.

Seems all these navigation devices are just junk. I’ve found that I’m better off using my trusty atlas. I do use the navigation system Crete has and I gotta say…. It’s 100x better than the big orange navigation.

I did use TruckerPath, but here lately it’s been a joke.
