fedex ground and national ltl both suck. whenever a freeway becomes a parking lot. you can pretty much guarantee the cause was due to a fedex driver losing it.

Driver, truck was not jack knifed. Simply in a ditch. I say the wrong ditch because it appeared that he decided to go eastbound via a westbound off ramp....this was right after a bad storm apparently, weather was perfect but cars and trucks alll over, and lots of fresh powder on the sides....no crossover marks in the median, but eastbound CRST truck in the westbound ditch, right before an off ramp...Funny...
I've never run the west in the winter, closest i ever got was june....which at 10,000 feet, doesnt look much like summer, as you know..
So maybe they just like to get the hell out of the west as fast as they can no matter the cost?

I wonder why fedex does not care about safety. I remember a while back there was a post on here, where a guy asked a fedex driver at the fuel island about the road..."oh, its just ice driver, hammer down!!" ...then he asked how come you guys are always in the ditch, and got.."fedex has deep pockets, i wreck it i just get a new one!" ...gawd.
Don't these drivers realize they're likely to eventually die or end up in jail from driving like that all the time? -
I never read anything about why the driver lost control? Did I miss that? I also didn't realize that Fed Ex ground was that bad either.

The worst ! Look up "Fed Ex Crash" on Youtube and see for yourself.

It's a running joke amaong drivers these days how bad these FedEx ground trucks are...
-
they are contractors, not Fedex employees."Most" are a joke, and are low paid guys driving for the owner of the truck, that aren't governed usually. Low skill level and too much speed= ditch
