    This is a typical Alaska double set the longer the truck the more weight you can haul . this truck is legal any where Ive been in alaska with the exception of the haul road starting at Fairbanks north to Deadhorse you can only pull singles.

    30 bellow, that's very cool. I wish more Ak truckers, past and present, would post. The few times I've been to Ak, all I remember seeing is Lynden trucks, I suppose since they basicaly own Ak freight..LOL.

    Here are some pictures of the Alcan Highway in British Columbia and northward. Had my co-driver take some pictures for me.

    From what they told me they install those gaurdrails level, but the frost heaves do that to the whole road.

    Here is one of the three pictures that I took while in alaska. At that point in time the river delta was the only thing I found interesting after two weeks of driving to get to that part.

    Correct the maximum weight in Alaska is 159500 and you must be 120' long according to the bridge laws.
