Good luck to both of us... I will be starting at Swift Millington tomorrow also. I think that if you can handle 10 years as a cable guy you should be able to handle pretty much anything. I guess I will see you well before dawn at the Inn for our shuttle ride into Memphis!!!

Good luck to you both! Just remember....backing takes practice and if a 52 year old Nana can do it........you sure can! (yes yes I know I'm 54 now but I was 52 during the school!)

sorry it has been so long since I have posted anything. Busy with work. I had to reschedule my class to the 20th because of my current employer. I do have to say I am more excited than before! I live in the Memphis area so I will be able to come home at the end of each day. I will post the goings on that I encounter. Thank all of you for the replys! I will be in touch.

I wish I could be going with you, I had to reschedule for the 20th. My current employer had issues with me leaving with only a 2 week notice. I decided I would give another week just not to burn that bridge. Good luck and I will see you hopefully when my class starts the 20th!

we lost 2 to medical reasons, 1 for diabetes, other for perscription meds where he did not disclose the info prior to and had to return home to get medical papers and clearance from his doctor. 1 had to return home due to his permit was about to expire while in school. but did see him the following week...2 left due to drug test...people you know if you have been using..dont try it here...1 left due to not disclosing his prior convictions....just be honest. they will find it...but tell your recruiter before you get there. 3 were on academic probation during skills training, 1 ended up quiting the next week. 2 were put on academic probation during road training, unable to pass final skills training. others are still awaiting cdl test at dmv in their states. 3 went to tn dmv, only 2 passed. 1 went to florida and failed at dmv, 1 went to missouri and passed. as for the others we are still awaiting their fate. but for those of u that made it in tn we are headed to orientation tues.
