You mean there's hope? I tried redownloading the updates. Tried reset button. But I plan to keep trying before I call the number.

Don, I would like to do that very thing. Where do I contact you directly to conclude the purchase. Also, can this be delivered by next Friday (10/29)? I am back in the truck on 10/30.

You must be busier than a...

Now that I am updated my unit gives me 2 messages every time I power on.
    1. "End of driving day"
    2. "End of on duty day"
I have to manually close them. How do I disable that feature?

Also, How do I prevent the scale from zooming so far out when in a normal driving mode?

    Thanks

    These I know.

For the logs you have to set it to manual.
For the zoom just turn it off.
Both are settings in the menu.

I still cannot get maps, I tried again and once again the unit is Dead in the water.

    Woodport Thanks this.

i have the TND 700. this week while i was driving across the penn turnpike, my map suddenly disappeared and it looked i was driving through space. did that a couple of times. friday morning i was driving southon route 2 in west virginia going to sistersville. when i would come to a town it wanted to route me off of 2, and into a residential neighborhood for one block and then back out onto route 2. some of these streets i would hesitate taking a straight truck down let alone a tractor trailer. Also Mark, i thought you said speed limit updates would be included in the last major update. So where are they? Oh, and the updates that get every weekend are they the same or are they always different? And why does it always want me to download the new version of the tnd dock? Is it always a new version?

ChromeDome is correct, but I tend to take a much easier approach,

In the main screen\truck info\timers and logs\ tap on the 11/14/70 of your choice, click on the # sign, change to 99999 and hit change. Now when you hit your 100,000 hrs of driving you will know it is time to retire - comes out to about 27 years of driving.

Or you could set to about 350 and when it gets to zero you have been out about 5 weeks (70 x 5).

    Thanks,
    Mark

Forgot the scale - main screen\preferences\device\auto zoom - set to street, city or county or off.

    Thanks,
    Mark
