delivered on friday up near sweetwater tx and got a load of drywall out of there and have been sitting in houston at the flying peelot since yesterday morning. nice movie theater across the street that has a full food menu!

 

I'm enjoy'n an ocean view tonight from a rest stop on I-5 at Oceanside,CA.
Deliver tomorrow at 8:30 in Escondido so I'm here for the night,nice place for a rest stop.

 

Strasburg VA at the Wilco Hess... been down to the WallyWorld in Woodstock for the weekly grub run.

 

Shut down at rest area near Bradenton. About 45 minutes from shipper in Plant City. Loading at 0900.

Been to that rest area by Bradenton a gazillion times. There's a tiny truck stop on the other side of the freeway on the left just after the KFC. Also, if you turn right at the gas station almost directly across from that KFC, follow the road around the corner and take that first left, McDonald's has parking for about ten or twelve trucks. There's a Sonny's BBQ and a Crackerbarrel within a couple blocks' walk from that McD's.

I used to drop my trailer at Tropicana in Bradenton and park my bobtail in the corner by the road at that little gas station. Nice people run it. I would just be careful to not leave trash and pick up after my dog so they'd keep letting me park there. No room for a whole rig, though.

Also, there's a Walmart about a mile down past the truck stop on the right. They don't mind trucks being there, but would rather tractor-trailers park in the back. I'm not sure what their overnight policy is because I never stayed overnight. I always bobtailed into the main parking lot, did my shopping and left.
