There is only one thing that MT means in this company/industry... and that is empty. Acting professional or knowing how to spell has nothing to do with how one would type on the Qualcomm... Every big company finds ways to save money, and since USA pays per character for the QC, the shortest way to get a message across is best for the company.

It was when QUALACOM first started and the cost per letter was OUT of theis WORLD , everything was ABBREVIATED. Same as FL , LTL , HOS , ETA ecte.

Yeah I get that they make up abbreviations that don't even exist. They have their own language in trucking, just like teenage kids that text all sorts of nonsense. Yes I get that MT sounds like empty, and no there is nothing professional about it.We're not children, or some beverly hills chic. Like, omg bff fyi gagabooboo. I don't find it to be professional at all or appropriate. Just one small example as why America is falling behind in education to other countries, can't even speak or write our own language. But hey, it's not my fault I'm old school.

Like I posted earlier, abbreviating something on the QC has nothing to do with being professional, it has to do with saving the company money. Not sure what you don't get about that... But whatever...

I say it has more to do with it than most will admit. They could go with an unlimited plan, probably would save money anyway, so not sure why they wouldn't. But saving money is never worth acting dumb, even if they are not. Companies should have some responsibility as well in this world we live in. I don't mind abbreviations at all, but it should be atleast actual abbreviations for real words. Just my opinion.
